Coast, Kokkola, Keski-Pohjanmaa. We calculate high and low water here from an ocean tide model — accurate to about 5 cm on open coasts, considerably less in tidal flats and river mouths. Under the EU Bathing Water Directive the water quality in the 2024 season was classified as excellent. For the 2025 season the responsible authority no longer reports this spot as a bathing water. The classifications of earlier years still stand; there are no new samples here.
